Thanks for putting up with me these past few days lol. I know I’ve been a bug on your timeline, I usually get like that when my birthday is approaching.
I always plan to have fun on my birthdays, whether I have a party or not.
I had a few doubts about this birthday because first of all I had made plans with my friend to travel to the mountain resort in Gatlinburg TN, but last minute she called and cancelled ‘cuz of work and then most of my other friends weren’t around, I didn’t let that stop me tho… thing is, I actually know how to have fun all by myself but I loooovveee having my friends around.
Since I wasn’t gonna have a party this year and I was most definitely not traveling outside Atlanta, I decided to make lemonade outta my lemons (is that how they say it?)… well I made one helluf a drink 😉
So, here’s everything I was up to (in pictures and a few words)
Friday was quite sunny, I first headed out to the studio for a photoshoot, then I got back home, changed into something comfortable and went to the poolside (you already know I didn’t enter the water) then later that evening I and my cousin went to see a movie and after that, we went to church for Night vigil
On Saturday morning I really didn’t feel like getting out of bed, I was so tired, but we had already made plans to visit Six Flags Over Georgia and we ended up spending the whole day there. It was so much fun, although there were endless waiting lines. I went on just two roller-coaster rides (the Batman and Goliath), they also had some side attractions/events, like the Southern Star Music Festival inside the Axis Arena,( where some schools came to compete on stage) so that was a plus too. Asher had the most fun, he went on every ride in bugs bunny town… and if baby is happy, mama is happy.
Then, my aunt (moms elder sister) came all the way from South Carolina to surprise me. She actually had to sit in her car for hours because we were still at the theme park and my phone battery was flat. I felt so bad when I got home and saw her waiting outside in her car, but she was so excited to see me…
On Sunday, the actual D day! I Woke up to calls and messages and OMG the love was overwhelming, I almost started crying, let me just say THANK YOU ALL so much again, God bless you all.
We ended the 3-day celebration over dinner. My aunt told the chef it was my birthday so they did a Japanese song and dance for me, I couldn’t get all the performance on video because my phone’s storage picked the worst time to be full.
In the video you can hear him tell everyone else ‘happy birthday’ except me lol, I almost jumped out of my seat to scratch his face… but at last he said it to me. (btw my cousin is the one doing the recording)
Gosh I had a lot of fun. I never ever want my birthdays to end *crying*
I’m so thankful to God for another year WOW! Let the countdown to April 23rd next year begin 😀
Or can I have another birthday this year please?… Oh I’m just gonna hijack Asher’s *evil grin*
Hope you enjoyed the pictures …xoxo
