This year, I made a last minute decision (when have I never? lol) to spend my Christmas holiday in Lagos. It was so last minute that I bought my plane ticket on my way to the airport. It was almost impossible to get any seat on any flight, it was as if the whole of Abuja was running out of the city. My mum had to travel with Asher on a different flight.
My best friend Yemi, had been asking me to come to Lagos, she had planned the whole trip. Apparently Lagos has been bubbling non stop with different social events since the beginning of December. I arrived on the 23rd and there were still so many fun activities happening. Man! You’ve got to love Lagos.
On arrival, I went straight from the airport to my first social in Lagos. It was the “Sip N slay Nigeria” hosted by @everyStylishGirl… (awkward at first, fun in the end).

On the 24th… My girlfriends moved in with us. After gisting the whole day and catching up, we attended #wizkidtheconcert. We were backstage and met a few celebrities and also saw some celebrity drama that will forever remain an inside joke to us. Lmao

On the 25th… Christmas day *big grin* First of all, we woke up so late, because we were out past midnight the previous night. We came downstairs and met food everywhere…Gosh! I’d love to wake up to that everyday. Later that day, we drove to Hi-impact Amusement park. I have a few reservations about the place, but, well, Asher loved it and didn’t want to go home.
